Don't check your money.
Talk to it.

Zoninga is a financial agent, not another dashboard. It watches your accounts every day, answers in plain English, and asks before anything changes — it can never move your money. The charts and reports are still here; they show up as evidence when you ask.

🛡️ Your Financial Watchdog

It Watches. You Decide.

Approve a monitoring plan once, and the agent takes the daily shift: bill coverage, low balances, idle cash, cash-flow shortfalls, spending that looks off. When it catches something, you get one clear question — approve or decline — and you make any transfer at your own bank.

The Plan Your Agent Watches

Snowball, avalanche, and six more — compared side by side on your actual debts, with the exact month each one gets you to zero. Pick the winner, and the agent defends the date. Example household: $45,000 across four debts.

Built to be trusted with your money

Before you give a finance app your numbers, it should answer one question first: what happens to my data? Here's our answer.

Read-only bank access

Bank connections run through Plaid — the same connection layer behind apps like Venmo. Zoninga never sees or stores your bank login, and the connection cannot move money. Ever. The same red line binds the AI agent: it proposes, you approve, and any transfer happens at your own bank. You can pause the agent with one switch, and everything it does lands in an audit log.

Encrypted at rest and in transit

Sensitive fields are encrypted with AES-128 before they reach the database, on top of encrypted disks and HTTPS everywhere. A database leak alone wouldn't expose your account names or transaction descriptions.

Two-factor authentication

Add TOTP two-factor auth in about a minute. Sensitive operations — like linking a bank — require it, plus fresh re-verification even mid-session.

Your data is yours

Export your accounts and transactions to CSV anytime, on any plan. Delete your account and your personal data is removed on a published retention schedule — not quietly kept.

No ads. No data selling. Ever.

Subscriptions are the entire business model. Your transactions are never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to market other products at you.

Security-scanned on every release

Every deploy must pass automated dependency audits, static security analysis, and secret scanning before it ships. Found something? security@zoninga.com.

Fair questions

The things we'd want to know before handing a new app our finances.

Is it safe to put my financial information in Zoninga?

Sensitive fields are encrypted with AES-128 before they reach the database, all traffic is HTTPS, and you can add two-factor authentication in about a minute. Every release has to pass automated security scans (dependency audit, static analysis, secret scanning) before it can deploy. And because the business model is subscriptions, your data is never sold or shared with advertisers.

Do I have to connect my bank account?

No. Everything works with manual entry — the free plan is built around it. Bank sync is an optional Premium convenience. You can even start with the free debt calculator without creating an account at all.

Can Zoninga move my money?

No. Bank connections are read-only — they import balances and transactions so you don't have to type them. Zoninga can't initiate transfers or payments. Your bank credentials never touch our servers: the connection is handled by Plaid, the same service used by apps like Venmo, and we store only an encrypted access token you can revoke anytime. The AI agent lives under the same rule: it can propose a move (“shift $200 to checking before Thursday's autopay”), but only you can approve it — and you execute it at your own bank.

What does the AI agent actually do every day?

You approve a monitoring plan once — which bills to cover, the checking buffer you want, what counts as unusual. From then on the agent checks your accounts daily: bills due in the next week against what's in checking, balances near your floor, cash sitting idle above your buffer, months projected to come up short, and spending that looks off. When it catches something it sends a notification, and anything action-shaped lands in an approval inbox as a one-tap approve/decline question. You can pause the agent anytime with a single switch, and every action it takes is written to an audit log you can read. Daily monitoring is included free during the 14-day trial and is a Premium feature after that — your plan stays saved either way.

What does the free plan actually include?

Three accounts, 200 transactions a month, three budgets, three savings goals, the debt payoff planner with two strategies, and two what-if scenarios — free forever, not a trial. New accounts also get every Premium feature free for 14 days, no credit card required.

How is Zoninga different from YNAB, Monarch, or a spreadsheet?

Most finance apps are dashboards: they show you where your money went, and the watching is your job. Zoninga flips that — an AI agent checks your accounts every day and brings you the handful of things that need a decision, while the dashboard, reports, and payoff math sit underneath for whenever you want the detail. It's also built around getting out of debt (9 payoff strategies compared on your actual numbers, what-if scenarios before big decisions) and less than the going rate — Premium is $9.99/month versus the $13–15 most alternatives charge — with a permanent free plan.

What's the AI assistant?

The watchdog agent, on demand. Chat with it inside Zoninga — “how much did we spend on restaurants last quarter?” or “which card should I pay off first?” — and review its proposals in one inbox. Every plan includes 25 chat messages a month; Premium makes chat unlimited and keeps the daily monitoring running after your trial. You can also securely connect Claude or ChatGPT to your own data over OAuth (a Premium feature; no passwords shared, revocable anytime). See how to connect →

What happens to my data if I cancel?

You can export your accounts and transactions to CSV anytime, on any plan. Downgrading from Premium never deletes your data — you just lose access to Premium-only features. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed on the schedule in our privacy policy.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes — from your account settings, online, in two clicks. Billing is handled by Stripe, so we never see your card number. No minimum term, no cancellation call, no “email us to close your account”.
